Poem: The Frozen Forest

The depths of a dark and frozen forest, I'm consumed by fear, where hope is lost. On this frigid night, like none before, Deep sadness takes hold. The wind howls with terrible noises, In deep snowfall, I am half buried. No shelter or warm clothes to keep me secure, Yet I face this frozen world, resilient and pure. Not my first night here, I've lingered five long years. I did not know about this frozen dark place, But a beautiful girl has brought me here. In the first meeting, she appeared fair, Yet closeness unveiled her brutal face. I find myself alone on this frozen night, Neither she nor a path to return can I find. That fair girl has frozen my life. I believe she was a devil. In the darkness deep, I cannot return to my home, I believe I will die in this frozen place alone. My death will distress that fair girl, For I'm her only friend in this world. My life is frozen. My life is frozen.
